CAN YOU DANCE? SUPER CONVENTION

GREAT BRITIAN SOLO & DUET/TRIO QUALIFIYING AUDITIONS

Global Dance Open is very excited to be partnering with Can You Dance Super Convention to hold a Solo & Duet/Trio Qualifying Audition at the 2023 CYD? Super Convention.

This audition with feature a closed audition with 3 judges for soloists and duet/trios that would like to qualify and represent Great Britain at the 2024 GDO Finals in the Netherlands. There are limited routines available, and slots are on a first come, first served basis.

All participants will have the opportunity to perform their routines to a world-class panel of judges. Placing medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each category will be awarded.

Styles include: Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Jazz, Showdance, Lyrical, Acro & Hip-Hop

Open to dancers from the UK from age 4-30 years old

Can You Dance? Super Convention

Can You Dance? was formed in 2012 after Matt & Tom met on the BBC 1 TV show ‘So you think you can dance.’ They began with one event and have now grown to 8 Regional Conventions, 4 Teacher Conventions, their flagship event, the CYD? Super Convention and a very exciting brand new event coming in 2022! Alongside all of this they are proud to have an amazing company of 55 dancers in the CYD? Dance Stars Company!

CYD? is at the forefront of the dance events industry and can be credited for introducing the dance convention scene to the UK. It was developed to create a platform where dancers can be educated and inspired in a supportive and professional environment. CYD? have always, and will always, put dancers at the forefront. Every one of the events has been designed around the dancers experience.
