Kathrin Baum-Hofer
Kathrin Baum-Höfer was born in Spremberg, Germany, and studied at the School of Dance Leipzig, then danced as a soloist with Erich Weinert Ensemble in Berlin and the Komische Oper Berlin which now belongs to the state ballet Berlin performing repertoire in different styles, from classical ballet to contemporary and modern dance. In 1999, Kathrin began her studies as a physiotherapist, graduating in 2002. Since 2007 she began her teaching career at the State Ballet School of Berlin, acquiring her diploma in ballet pedagogy at the Academy of Performing Arts in Mannheim in 2009. She instructs students in classical ballet, repertoire, and gymnastics, as well as rehearsing the State Ballet School's and the Berlin Youth Ballet's repertoire, in works including “The Little Prince”, “Le Corsaire”, and choreographies by Wayne McGregor, Jiří Kylián, and Marco Goecke. Kathrin also rehearses students for performances with the Berlin State Ballet Company. She has prepared many students for national and international competitions, often being invited as a jury member for international competitions and festivals in Brazil, the USA, Portugal, and Latvia. She teaches intensive study programs in Italy and has taught summer intensive programs at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, as well as programs for the American Academy of Ballet in New York City. Besides her being a ballet instructor, Ms. Baum-Hofer is responsible for making administrative decisions for the State Ballet School of Berlin.

Hannah Kidd
Hannah began her training at Elmhurst Ballet School and went onto London Contemporary Dance School where she completed her BA Hons and her MA. In 2007 Hannah joined Richard Alston Dance Company, with whom she performed for six years both nationally and internationally. She has performed for many other leading companies and choreographer’s, notably Merce Cunningham Company, Russell Maliphant, New Movement Collective, Didy Veldman, Ashley Page, Wayne Parsons Dance, Darren Ellis Dance and Mark Bruce Company. Hannah was twice nominated for the National Dance Award's Outstanding Female Performer. Hannah was part of the original cast for Bruce’s Dracula, winner of the Sky Arts South Bank Award 2014. Most recently she performed in A night of 100 solo’s, a centennial celebration for Merce Cunningham at the Barbican, London, the event was live streamed worldwide. Alongside performing, Hannah has taught in many of the UK's dance conservatoires on both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at London Contemporary Dance School, Royal ballet School, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Rambert School, Central School of Ballet and at Trinity Laban, as well as for companies Richard Alston Dance Company, Protein, Matthew Bourne's New Adventure's and Mark Bruce Company. Hannah has been in post as Head of Education and Examination’s at Rambert Grades since 2022 after taking a leading role in the creation of the syllabus.
