Ages: 13 years and under (taken January 1st)

Dancers nominated for this will be needed in Birmingham from July 14-July 17th
​
Global Grand Prix is a special competition within our Finals where the most talented classical dancers from the globe are nominated to compete to become our Global Grand Prix Winner.
Our Global Grand Prix competition is a phenomenal platform for dancers who show great potential in classical ballet. Dancers will be exposed to leading ballet school directors & will have the opportunity to meet and learn from talented dancers from all over the globe.
Dancers must receive nominations at Qualifiers to compete in this.
TO BE NOMINATED DANCERS MUST:

Compete with Classical (repertoire) solo

The Ballet repertoire solo must score 90 points and be placed in the Upper Division for the Finals

Dancers must also receive a nomination- the above does not automatically qualify you for DOTG.

Any nominations at qualifiers are FINAL & not subject to appeal​

Once nominated dancers will take part in the following.
CLASSICAL CLASSWORK
Dancers will take part in a 1-hour 15 Ballet class
This class will be scored by a panel of Directors from Leading Ballet Schools
The scores from the class will count towards 40% of overall marks
CLASSICAL SOLO SOLO
The mark from the dancer’s contemporary solo will count towards 60% of their overall mark

GRAND DEFILE GALA PERFORMANCE
All nominated dancers will be invited to take part in in our special Gala Grand Defile Performance. Choreographer to be announce soon…
​
HOW IT WORKS?
Once dancers have completed their classwork & performance, the top 2 dancers will be announced and will later dance again at the Classical Gala.
Our Runner up & Winner will be announced at the end of our Classical Gala
