Global Dance Open is a unique dance competition experience made up of 39 country qualifiers leading to 1 global finals.

Founded just 2 years  ago in 2020, GDO is one of the fastest growing dance competitions. Our 2022 season saw more than more than 2,500 dancers participate from 39 countries.

By offering the opportunity for dancers to compete virtually as well as live we are able attract the most talented dancers from all over the world, making it accessible to all, no matter of where they come from.

What sets GDO apart from many other dance competitions is the opportunities and connections we bring dancers.

We firmly believe that a dance competition should be more than just about winning. We are dedicated to giving talented young dancers experiences and opportunities that are worth far more than a medal or trophy.

Due to our close connection and networking with many directors of professional schools worldwide, we are able to ensure that all of our finals judges come from the most prestigious full time schools & institutions, bringing many scholarships & prizes with them

​

At our 2022 finals €300,000 worth of scholarships were given out to some of the most prestigious dance institutions as well as company contracts.
