What ages are the masterclasses for?

The masterclasses will all specify an age or level. There are workshops available for all ages. Please use the dancer’s age on the day of the workshop

How much are masterclasses?

Masterclasses are 12,50€ for 1 hour and 15mins, or 10€ for an hour.

When does registration open and close for masterclasses/tickets?

Registration will stay open until the tickets are sold out. All tickets are on a first come, first served basis. Please ensure if you want to take a class, that you book asap.

Are all theatres in the same venue? Are masterclasses at the same venue?

The Symphonic and Camera Theatre are opposite from each other making access for backstage and spectators easy. We have 2 studios on site for masterclasses: Main Studio and Teacher Studio.

Is there a dress code for masterclasses?

There is no specific dress code, however students should come appropriately dressed for the style they are going to participate in

Should flags be brought to prize-giving?

Yes, bring your flags to prize givings!

Will virtual and live participants compete against each other?
-
The virtual and live competitors will have separate prize giving’s and medal placings. We will be having a special virtual theatre where sessions can be viewed at the competitions and the judges will be evaluating. With the exception of the Upper Division and Classical and contemporary boys’ sections, where the virtual will be projected in the Symphonic Theatre

When will scholarships be awarded?

Scholarships will be awarded at our 2 Gala evenings: 20th July and 22nd July.

When is the opening parade?

The opening parade will be from 20:00 on the 20th of July. More details will be available soon.

Do dancers need to buy spectator tickets?

Dancers can watch everything with their dancer pass (both stage and galas)

What are the galas?
-
The 20th July Gala is the classical gala. Some selected winners will be invited to perform and scholarships/special prizes in Ballet, Contemporary & National/Folklore will be awarded (dancers from 19th-20th July). The second gala is the Performer Gala on 22nd July. This features winners and award for Jazz/Acro/Lyrical/Showdance/Hip-Hop/Tap/Musical Theatre
